William Hindman

William Roger Hindman, 60, of Cleveland, TN passed away November 8, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. The son of Herb and Hazel Hindman, Roger was born May 18, 1964 in Bradley County. Roger spent many enjoyable days hiking, working the farm, and enjoying the outdoors. His love for the Lord and willingness to help anyone naturally caused people to seek his company. He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Melanie Hindman; two sisters, Bunnie Julian and Debbie Williams. Remaining to cherish his memory and honor his legacy are his wife, Georgia; brothers, Robbie (Tammy) and Skeeter Hindman. Sisters, Diane (Alan) Gaston and Amy Hindman. Also, stepson, Josh Messer and stepdaughters, Carla and Stephanie. Bonus family Kenneth (Trei) and Laura Coleman III and grandchildren, Maddy, Jack and Devin Coleman. As well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, November 15, 2024, 3:00-5:00 at Cleveland Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4200 Pryor Rd NE. Services to immediate follow at 5:00. In honor of Roger's wishes, cremation will follow with burial at a later date. Laura Coleman to provide music and Brad Logsdon, lifelong friend, offering the eulogy. The family request that donation be made to Cleveland Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints in lieu of flowers. The staff of Companion Funeral Home and the Cody family are honored to serve the Hindman family.
