William "Earp" Bennett

Obituary

William “Earp” Bennett, 58, a lifelong resident of Decatur, TN passed away on Thursday night, October 9th, 2014. Earp was born on August 12th, 1956 a son of the late John & Crissie Bennett. He was lifelong machine operator in the construction industry.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers Darrell Bennett, James Bennett and Johnny Bennett.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Christy Lawson and her husband Shane, one sister Brenda Kyker (Larry) , three brothers Stacy Bennett , Richard Bennett (Kathy) and Gary Bennett, five grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and host of special friends.

A celebration of his life was held Saturday night, October 11th, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN. The family received friends from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.

Interment will take place on Sunday, October 12th, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Beta Cemetery in Decatur, TN.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donation be sent P. O. 165, Georgetown, TN 37336 in his memory.
