William E. Brown

William “Ed” Brown Sr., 69, went to be with his Lord on February 13, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Bradley County. Ed attended Dalton Pike Baptist Church. He retired after 38 years with Duracell. As a hobby Ed enjoyed operating Short Wave radios for many years, but what he loved most was spending time with his loving wife Tina.

He was Survived by his wife of seven years, Augusteen “Tina” Brown; daughter, Jeannie Johnson; sons, Jerry and Rusty Brown; brothers, Jerry, Joe and Dewey Brown; sister, Joy Ingles; and other close relatives and loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Johny Johnson, Dave Brady, Kenny Pierce, Roy Summey, Charles Anderson and Dewayne Roach. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles “Chuck” Sabers, Jim Burger and Freddy Millsap.

Visitation will be held at Dalton Pike Baptist Church Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 11:00am until 2:00pm. Funeral Services will follow and start at 2:00pm. Burial will be held at Posey Family Cemetery in Flat Rock, Alabama. Pastor Dudley Nichols will be officiating at the services.
