William Douglas "Doug" Grant

William Douglas “Doug” Grant, 57, a longtime resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Sunday morning, January 8th, 2017 at his home. He was born on July 16th, 1959 a son of the late Frances Eaton Owensby. Doug was a local housepainter for many years. He was of the Baptist faith and member of Maple Street Baptist Street Church.

Doug is survived by his loving wife Diane Sullivan Grant, three sisters along with several nieces and nephews, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of his life is planned for Friday, January 13th, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Blake Tinsley officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time in the funeral home parlor.
