William "Danny" Cook

William “Danny” Cook, 62, of Niota, Tennessee passed away at Sweetwater Hospital on Thursday, July 7, 2022. He was born on January 27, 1960, to the late Murel Jack Cook and Helen Cook in Athens, Tennessee. Danny was an employee of the McMinn County Board of Education as assistant maintenance supervisor. He enjoyed being on the lake and spending time with his family and friends.

Along with his parents Danny was preceded in death by his siblings, Marilyn West, and Ricky Cook.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his soulmate, Susie Price; sister, Janet Gail Galyon; two brothers, Larry (Vickie) Cook, and Roger Dale Cook; son, Joe Cook; daughter, Kim (Kasey) Brown; along with several grandchildren, nieces, nephews; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Companion Funeral Home of Athens from 5:00 pm – 7:00pm.
