William Christopher Shane Stanfield, 45, of Cleveland, TN passed away on September 19, 2021. He was born on August 29, 1976 to Steve and Nancy Stanfield. Chris worked as a juvenile probation officer at Bradley Central High School for 15 years. He loved hunting, fishing, cooking, and Florda State Seminole Football. Chris’ true passion was music. He was a gifted musician, specializing in drums. He was the drummer for the band One Shot Down. Chris was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Clarence “Danny” Stanfield, Lorine “Sis” Stanfield, Hiram “Fate” Runyon, and Virginia Runyon.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents: Steve and Nancy Stanfield; son Trent Stanfield; daughter Lyric Stanfield; sister Kim Bivens (Chris); nieces: Brittany and JoElna Arnold. Chris also leaves behind a host of extended family and very close friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at 3pm on Saturday September 25, 2021 in the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. His family will receive friends from 11am until the 3pm service. Micah Smith, Kenny Thompson, Benjamin Biller, Dea Sharp, Bruce Morgan, Dennis Purvis, Marcus Cochran, Mark Russell, Arnold Hambright, Dan Oliver Jeremy Holmes, Ryan Locklear, and faculty and staff of Bradley Central High School will serve as honorary pallbearers.
