William "Bill" Womac

William “Bill” Womac age 73, of Calhoun, TN died peacefully at home Monday, May 4, 2020. In addition to truck driving, Bill was a painter by trade alongside his father and two sons. He was a “master” tradesman by nature and enjoyed fishing.
Preceded in death by parents, Thomas D. and Theda M. Womac.
Survivors include: beloved wife, Delores Womac; son David and wife Stephanie Womac, son Ronald and wife Shelly Womac, Daughter Tammy and husband Donald Maloney, all of Calhoun, TN; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sister Bernice and husband James Blassingame, of Athens, TN; sister Beverly and husband Butch Blassingame of Chatsworth, Ga; brother Gary and wife Earlene Womac of Calhoun, Tn. Bill will be greatly missed by his “go to” friends Glenn Torbett and Darrell Prueitt, the Hardees morning crew, and most of all his family.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 9th from 12:00-4:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Kidney Foundation.
