William Alden Smelley

Obituary
William Alden Smelley, 70, a resident of Chattanooga, TN passed away on Sunday July 14th, 2013 at his home. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga was born here on May 16th, 1943 a son of the late James Floyd & Wilma Gertrude Smelley.
William was an honorably discharge veteran of the United States Marine Corps after faithfully serving his country. This was an honor he accepted with great pride.
William leaves behind to cherish his memory three siblings Celia Darlene Lilienthal, Lexie Vandergriff and Charles Smelley and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A memorial celebration will be held on Thursday, July 18th, 2013 at the Morganville Church of Christ in Whitwell, TN at 4:30 PM Central Standard Time.
