Willadean Rodgers Joines

Willadean Rodgers Joines, 52, a lifelong resident of Madisonville, TN passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Sweetwater Hospital. She was born in Sweetwater, TN on September 10, 1967 a daughter of the late J.R. & Ezzie Carroll. She was of the Baptist faith. Willadean enjoyed camping, loved her dogs and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a grandson Terry Rodgers Jr.

Willadean leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons Jeremy Rodgers (Jessica) and Terry Rodgers Sr., four grandchildren Destiny Rodgers, Malenna Rodgers, Cassandra Rodgers and Haley Rodgers, two brothers James Ricky Carroll and Douglas Arthur Carroll (Denia), two sisters Darlene Byers (Tim) and Christine Jones (Jeff), numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN. A service celebrating her life will follow the visitation time on Wednesday starting at 6:00 PM with the Reverend Gary Hawley officiating.
