Wilburn Thomas Martin

Wilburn Thomas Martin, 85, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday June 22, 2017. He worked for the City of Cleveland for over 30 years. He was a hardworking man who loved NASCAR and being outside, but more than anything he loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John B. Martin and Mable Newton Martin and his son, Steve Thomas Martin.
Wilburn leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Junior Martin, Connie Mikel (Greg), Karen Marcum, and Alan Stanley; grandchildren, Lisa Farris (Marshal), Tark Martin, Sondra Elrod, Pam Rogers, Leslie Sims, Tabitha Wattson, and Angela Taylor; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Monday June 26, 2017, at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday June 27, 2017 at 11:00 at the funeral home, with Pastor John Stinett officiating the service.
Wilburn will be laid to rest following the service in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
