Wesley Garrison

September 14, 1942 — December 25, 2024

Wesley M, Garrison of Cleveland, TN and York, ME went home to be with the Lord on December 25th, 2024.

He was born in Pinehurst, NC on Septemer 14, 1942. Wesley was beloved son of Paul and Opal Garrison. He was preceeded in death by his parents, his brothers Carl Garrison and Marshall Garrison, and his sisters Nancy Chavez and Paula Garrison.

Wesley is survived by his wife Chaplain Nancy Garrison. They were blessed to celebrate their 38th wedding anniversary on December 23rd, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion thru "his girls": Becky (Eric) White, Charleston, TN; Amy (Larry) McCullough, Georgetown, TN; Melody Gardner, Conyers, GA; Michelle (Malcom) Fox, Canton, GA; Mandy Ford, Conyers, GA; and his niece Elizabeth McBride, Cleveland, TN. He has nine grandchildren. Dr. Haley Grace, CA; Hannah Yarber, TN; Emma Long, TN; Tabatha (Quentin) Eggleston, GA; Kacey Fox, OH; Jon Wesley Ford, TN; Ben Ford, TN; Jessie Gardner, GA; and Victoria Gardner, GA. he also has a grand niece and nephew; three great grandchildren, and many extended family; Bob and Diane Caron, Candia NH and Dr. Shirley Wilson, Rochester, NH, and church family.

Wesley grew up in West End, NC and started his love for professional driving at the age of 16 because he drove the school bus for Pinehurst school system. In his retired years he drove the bus for the Cleveland, TN city schools. He moved from driving school busses to OTR truck driver all over the country. Wesley in his young/adult time period worked at the Marshall House, York Harbour, ME and the Carolina Hotel in Pinehurst, NC.

Wesley was in the Army National Guard and then enlisted in the service of the Army for almost three years. He was very proud of that and loved wearing his "Army cap" day and night.

While in York, Wesley and Nancy were in attendance at Harvest of Praise Church of God. 17 Heaton St., Rochester, NH. He so enjoyed the fellowship of this church. We thank Pastor Laren Whaley, and the church for their dedication of prayer for us, especially during the Alzheimers years.

Wesley will be dearly missed and forever remembered as a loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend. His kindness and love for God, country, and family shall be remembered. His joy of telling stories with a sparkle in his beautiful blue eyes will make all of us smile.
