Wayne Kincaid, 83, enlisted in a new Army with his Lord and Commander in Chief on February 26, in the afternoon in a Chattanooga hospital. He was born in Mulvane, Kansas, August 23, 1934. Son of the late Ira and Opal Kincaid.
He attended Kansas State and graduated with a Bachelor Degree from UTC. He was a retired career Army officer of 22 years and served in Vietnam and Korea. After retiring he worked at Kile Dodge and Superior Olds in Cleveland, Tn.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Robert and Harold; two sisters, Elizabeth and Arlene.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years Linda Kincaid, son Michael Kincaid, daughter in law Charity Kincaid, three grandchildren; Bradley, Brayden and Bailey, a brother Gary Kincaid (Gail), sister, Mildred Long and other extended family members and dear friends from all over the world.
A celebration of life and visitation will be held March 3, 2018 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The internment will be in the St. Luke’s Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Dr. Joel Huffstutler officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Paralyzed American Veterans(PVA.org), The Caring Place Cleveland(www.thecaringplaceonline.org), and or St. Luke’s Discretionary Fund 320 Broad St. Cleveland, TN 37311.
