Wayman Douglas Couch

Wayman Douglas Couch, 73, of McDonald, TN passed away on June 10, 2023. He was born February 5, 1950 to the late Earl and Laura Belle Couch. Wayman loved fishing and spent as much time as he could on the water. He also enjoyed cars, and sitting on his front porch. He was a gifted gardener who enjoyed working in the yard.

In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his brothers Wendell Couch and Wesley Couch.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Ashleigh Sexton (Nick), Megan Ellison (Brad), Ethan Couch (Trusann); grandchildren: Sky Ellison, Emery Couch, Lyric Cantrell, Kailey Cantrell, and Cameron Dwyer. He also leaves behind his wife of 23 years, Donna Ellison.

Wayman’s family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pm on Thursday June 15, 2023 at Corinth Baptist Church with a celebration of life service on 2pm on Friday June 16th at the church with Pastor Shane Williams officiating. He will be laid to rest at the church cemetery following the service. Wayman’s family also welcomes friends to bring their boats and park them at the visitation or service for Wayman’s last fishing trip. The attire for the funeral is also very casual. Jeans or overalls are encouraged!
