She was retired from Dupont Corporation after 30 plus years of service and a member of New Horizons Community Church of Calhoun, TN.

Wanda was a selfless, dedicated, and devoted wife and mother, a spoiler of all grandchildren, a loyal, dependable, and encouraging friend. She loved nothing more than cooking for and spending time with her loved ones. She was a voracious reader, happy dabbler in the arts of crochet, cross stitch, and hanging wallpaper. Wanda enjoyed mini farm life with her beloved Leroy, raising vegetables, fruit, flowers, chickens, rabbits, goats, and a plethora of strays (of both the four and two-legged variety) brought home by her children and grandchildren. She peppered her life with fearless pursuit of adventure and enjoyed traveling from Texas, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington State; toting three kids camping from the mountains of Tennessee and Georgia to the beaches of Florida; swimming, tubing, and rafting the Ocoee, Hiawassee, and Nantahala rivers. Late in life Wanda found her true creative passion in quilting and was addicted until her final days, making three quilts alone in 2020-2021.
Wanda S. Hogan was the true epitome of selfless, kind, and gentle love with a caring and forgiving heart. She was and shall forever remain an inspiration to not only be good, but to do good as well.
