Wanda Newton

Wanda Deloris Newton, 82, left this earth to be with our Lord on March 3, 2025. She was born on December 22, 1942 to the late Julius Fate Branam and Eliza Mantooth. She was a lifelong resident of the Cleveland, TN area. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Teleta Crumbley (Branam) and brothers Duel (Buttermilk) Branam, Julius Branam, and Randall Branam, the father of her six children Bobby Matthews, and her beloved son, Danny Matthews.

She leaves behind her sons Pete Matthews, Bartley Matthews (Patricia), Ozzer Matthews (Stacey), Faron Matthews, and daughter Angel Matthews. She was the grandmother to 18 grandchildren and had several great grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by many.
