Obituary
Wanda Jean Sutton, 63, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Saturday night, January 3rd, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. Wanda was born in Chickamauga, GA on April 13th, 1950 a daughter of the late Hubert Cofelt. She spent her childhood in the McDonald, TN area and has made Cleveland her home since them. Wanda is of the Baptist faith. She loved gardening and being outdoors. Above all, Wanda will be most remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Wanda leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband of forty eight years Jimmy Sutton, one daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Danny Sutton, one son and daughter-in-law Keith and Lynn Sutton, her mother Doris Hodge, two sisters Linda Hair and Sandra Johnson, four grandchildren Camill Howard (Robbie), Kaytlin Sherlin (Andrew), Cory Sutton and Holly Sutton, three great grandchildren Emma Howard, Asa Howard and Lily Sherlin, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for 7:00 PM on Monday, January 6th, 2014 at the Clingan Ridge Baptist Church located at 2412 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Donnie Sutton officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday afternoon from 4:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made in Wanda’s memory to Hospice of Chattanooga. They would also like to thank the entire staff of Hospice of Chattanooga for the excellent care they proved Wanda and her family.
