Walter Bruce McMinn

Walter "Bruce" McMinn age 53 of Etowah, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at Starr Regional Medical Center.

Born September 16th, 1971 to Jerry Bruce and Gloria Jean Daugherty McMinn, Bruce was an avid Vols and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed car shows, tinkering with his model car and hot wheels collection & enjoying his YouTube subscriptions where he got hours of entertainment.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry & Gloria; and two fur babies, Henry Ford and Baby Girl.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, the love of his life of 25 years, Sarah Duckett Sprague. Her son, Anthony Wayne Sprague. His aunts, Pat Williams, Jane Smith, Jeraldine McMinn and Anna Ruth McMinn. Along with a host of cousins and friends.

A receiving of friends and family will be Saturday, February 15th from 1-3pm at Companion Funeral Home in Athens.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Companion Funeral Home of Athens to cover the funeral expenses.
