Walter Lee Gann

Walter Lee Gann, 75 of Decatur, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Walter was born on March 16, 1947 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Lewis and Albertha Harden Gann. Walter never met a stranger and enjoyed Playing his guitar, and telling everyone jokes.

Along with his parents Walter was preceded in death by his six brothers, and one sister.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughters, Angie Moore, and Mechelle Moore; his grandchildren, Brianna Moore, Amber Moore, Caleb Moore, Dakota Moore, and Alexis Moore; his eight great grandchildren; special niece, Donna Kay Walker; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Pastor David Evans officiating at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm prior to the service.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Grasshopper Church of God Cemetery at 3:00 pm with Dakota Moore, Jody Gann, Dylan Gann, Jim Gann, Keith Shahan, and Adam Gregory serving as pallbearers.
