Virginia M. "Ginger Hickman

Virginia M. “Ginger” Hickman, 87, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, evening, April 26, 2018 in a Canton, Ga health care facility. She was born in Meigs County Tennessee on November 4, 1930 to the late Hattie & Wilburn Hickman. She moved to Chattanooga in 1948 and then on to Atlanta, Ga. She worked for Bell Telephone Company for over thirty years. She loved her family very much.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory six nieces and one nephew: Deneise Tucker (Dough) of Duluth, GA, Renae Smith (David) of McDonough, GA, Burnetta Gere (Dewayne), Sue Collins (Gene) and Carolyn Myers all of Georgetown, TN, Sherry Erwin (James) of Decatur, TN and Walter Hickman (Linda) of Georgetown, TN , several great and great great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is planned for Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 12:00 PM in the Johnston Cemetery with Pastor Guinn Green officiating.
