Virgil Allen Clark

May 3, 1941 — July 10, 2016

Virgil Allen Clark, 75, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away on July 11th, 2016 at his home. He was a Washington D.C. police officer for 23 years. He also was very involved as a Church of God Minister. Virgil had a great love for working on motorcycles and making jewelry. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 56 years, Frances Clark; three children, Kimberly Hunter, Mark Allen Clark (Tammy), and Matthew Allen Clark; 8 grandchildren, Jordan, Luke, Gabriel, Coda, Jesse, Tabitha, Stephanie, and Jacob Clark and numerous extended family and friends.
A celebration of life memorial service is planned for 7:00pm on Thursday, July 14th, 2016 at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, with Brother Ron Stovall officiating the service.
Visitation will be held an hour prior from 6:00pm until the 7:00pm service time.
