Verline Everhart 

Verline "Jack" Everhart Jr., age 53 of Riceville, TN, passed away suddenly Tuesday evening, September 26, 2023. He was born at the old Epperson Hospital on January 6, 1970 in McMinn County.

He was the son of the late Jack and Jearlding Everhart and was preceded in death by his brother, L.C. Everhart; grandparents, Todd and Virena Jennings of Riceville.

Jack is survived by sisters, Virena and Rebecca Everhart of Meigs County; brother, Rav Everhart of Riceville; several aunts and uncles who live in and around the Riceville area.

There will be a family viewing on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home, 400 S. White St., Athens, TN 37303. There will be no formal visitation and the family requests no flowers.
