Tonya Denise Darnell

Tonya Scoggins Darnell, 60 a resident of Ocoee, TN sadly passed away Friday December 29, 2023 in the hospital after a battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her son Shaun Scoggins, mother Lillian Scoggins, father Joe Thomas (Tommy) Scoggins, and sister Penny Scoggins.

She leaves behind, her daughter Erika Darnell Gregory & her fiance Bobby Goins; her granddaughter Bryley Goins;  her grandsons Bryson Gregory, Tyler Scoggins, Trevor Scoggins and Trey Scoggins; her ex- husband David Darnell;  ex-daughter-in-law Christy Watson; her sisters Tina Lawson, Ida Scoggins & her boyfriend Robert Gentry, Tommie Lynn & John Shelton; her brother Jesse Scoggins & his girlfriend Tara Laymon; and one step sister Marcella Gooselin. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, and one uncle and we can't forget her little dog, Cassie.

She was a loving mother to her children and a good friend to so many. She was a child of God and will be missed very dearly.
