Tony Lamar Brackett

Obituary 
Tony Lamar Brackett, 61, a resident of Cleveland passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012 in a Chattanooga hospital. Tony was born in Cleveland TN on November 18, 1950 a son of the late Luola Brackett. He was of the Baptist faith and sent most of life a resident of the Polk County and Old Fort TN area. Tony was a loving father and grandfather and had a special place in his heart for the many friends he gained coaching softball and baseball for numerous years.
In addition to his mother he is also preceded in death by an uncle and several aunts.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory two daughters Sabrina Brackett and Tina Hooper, three grandsons Matt Hooper, Brady Hooper, and Kyler Evans, the mother of his children Mable Brackett, a special friend Casey McKenzie, and a host of other extended family members.
A funeral service is planned for Friday, March 9, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Temple Baptist Church located at 1057 Swan Road, Old Fort, TN 37362 with the Reverend Jimmy Parm officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time of Friday.
Interment will be on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 12:00 PM at the Cumberland Shed Cemetery with Matt Hooper, Kyler Evans, Brady Hooper, Tristan Evans, and Terry Shipley serving as pallbearers.
A fund has been started to offset Tony’s medical bills and the family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to The Tony Brackett Medical Fund 1498 Boanerges Church Rd, Old Fort, TN 37362.
