Tony Defriese

Tony Defriese, 74, of Georgetown, TN passed away on September 13, 2022. He was born on June 3, 1948 to the late Charles and Juanita Defriese. Tony enjoyed working on cars and hot rods, but most of all he loved his family and spending time with them-especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother and father he is preceded in death by his brothers Donnie Defriese, Larry Defriese, Jerry Defriese, and Arvil Defriese.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 51 years Kathleen Defriese; children: Tonja Watson (Derrick), Michael Defriese (Rachel), Rusty Shahan (Jenny), and Sandra Shahan; siblings Fred Defriese and Barbara Lines; grandchildren: Brock, Preston, Sage, Loden, Tristan, Easton, Shon, Christina, and Megan. In addition to these he leaves behind eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Tony’s family will receive friends at the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home from 3pm until 5pm on Saturday September 24th with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 5pm.
