Tommy Lee Headrick

Tommy Lee Headrick, 83, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Tommy was born in Tennga, Georgia, on October 15, 1939, to the late Thomas Tinker and Nola Dunn Headrick. Tommy had many hobbies which included deer hunting and fishing, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a dedicated member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church and worked at Allied Dealers until his retirement.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Headrick Cagle; son in law, Jeff Cagle; his brothers, LeRoy Headrick and Jimmy Headrick; and his sisters, Mildred Cline Rich, Betty Morris, Raymona Spivey, Aline Bandy, Mary Joe Cox, and Jeanette Kersey.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 52 years, Jean Headrick, of Cleveland, TN; his daughter, Brittany (Jason) Headrick Morrison; grandchildren, Reagan Morrison, Avery Morrison, and Karson Morrison all of Cleveland, TN, along with Zach (Miranda) Cagle of LaFayette, GA; his great granddaughter, Addison Cagle of Lafayette, GA; his brothers, Bill (Jonny Faye) Headrick, and Steve (Susan) Headrick; sisters, Emma Mae Cox, Bobbie Hawkins, and Wanda (Doug) Baggett; his sisters in law, Bonnie Headrick, and Martha Headrick; brother in law, Harold Bandy; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 5:00 pm at Samples Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Lee Ingram officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Samples Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with David Coe, Terry Bandy, Steven Brown, Mickel Boofer, David Thomas, and Troy George serving as pallbearers.
