Tommy Gladson

Tommy Gladson, age 72, of Cleveland, departed this life on Sunday morning, October 4, 2020 at Tennova Hospital. He was born on May 29, 1948 to the late Walter and Edna Gladson. He was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and retired from Whirlpool. Tommy enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Ronnie Gladson and sister in law Connie Sue Gladson.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 19 years, Denis Strayhorn Gladson; son Tommy Gladson Jr. of Cleveland; brothers: Junior Gladson (Lorraine) of Cleveland, Lee Gladson (Patti) of Georgetown, Eddie Gladson (Betty) of Cleveland, and Danny Gladson of Cleveland. In addition to these Tommy leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday October 7, 2020 at Samples Memorial Baptist Church. A celebration of life will be held at the church on Wednesday following visitation at 7:00pm with Pastor Jamie Gladson officiating. Tommy will be laid to rest at 9:00am on Thursday October 8, 2020 at Cedar Springs Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 9:00am on Thursday for the committal service.
