Tina Marie Stephens, born on October 19, 1965, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on December 30, 2024, Surrounded by her loved ones at home in Cleveland, Tennessee.
She was a beloved homemaker, known for her nurturing spirit and strong connections with her family.
Tina is survived by her husband of 21 years, Myron Stephens; her daughter, Bethany Schaffer; and her son-in-law, Dale Schaffer III. In addition, she leaves behind her brother, John Braddam; brother, Bobby Jo Mulkey; and a host of nieces and nephews, including Melissa Smalley, Tabitha (Tyler) White, Randi (Derik) Clark, Christina Hatch, Jackie Downing, Laurie Bowers, Michelle Van Oss, Susan Butler, Wayne (Ashley) Stephens, Angelena (Mike) Bruesewitz, and Chris (Melanie) Spear. Tina is also survived by her daughters' best friends she thought of as children Tiffany Allen and Reid Melowic.
Tina was preceded in death by: Her mother and father, Betty Mulkey & Billy Mulkey.
Tina had a profound passion for painting, which allowed her to express her creativity and bring beauty into the world. She enjoyed fishing with Myron, where they created cherished memories outdoors, soaking up the beauty of nature together. Tina loved planting flowers, creating vibrant spaces filled with life and color. She took great pleasure in spending time with her animals and watching the birds as they flitted about.
Each morning, Tina found joy in her cup of coffee, taking the time to appreciate the sunrise while listening to the gentle sounds of her wind chimes. One of her favorite pastimes was playing rummy with her daughter, a game that fostered their close bond and filled their home with laughter and love. Tina enjoyed joking with her son in law. Tina's spirit will forever illuminate the hearts of those she has left behind, casting a gentle glow on their lives. She will be cremated, her essence will now be a part of the wind and the flowers, the birds and the tranquility she so adored. In quiet moments, as her loved ones gaze upon the sunrise or listen to the soft chime of the wind, they will feel her presence. Tina will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
