Tina Campbell

Tina Jae Campbell, age 62 of Athens, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. A native of New York, she was born in Syracuse. Although poor health plagued her for many years, she kept her spirits up with a wonderful sense of humor and vivacious demeanor. Tina had an indelible energy that has left fond memories behind for all those she knew. Her favorite things included family time, laughing with others, animals, collecting, and dancing. In recent times, Tina looked forward to time with her niece, Cheyenne, who took on the role of caregiver and became a good friend.

Tina was preceded in death by her mother Bonnie Sullivan Campbell; paternal grandparents Delos & Cecil Green Campbell of Cincinnatus, NY; and maternal grandparents Byron & Helen Clark Sullivan of Gouverneur, NY.

Survivors include her children, Sara (Joe) Rytel and Joshua (Julia) Abdel Rahman; granddaughters, Shelby Rytel and Luna Abdel Rahman; father, Colin Campbell; siblings, Byron (Cynthia) Campbell, Paula (Jeff) Baker and Ron (Lisa) Whiting. Several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
