Timothy Joseph Peters

Timothy Joseph Peters, 60, a resident of Rockwood, TN passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2023. He was formerly of Thornton, Colorado. Tim was born on March 24, 1963, in Beloit, Kansas, a son of the late Robert and Helen Peters. He married JoDeen Davis on April 25, 1986, in Golden, Colorado. Tim worked as a shop foreman at Boulder Steel for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, ATV riding, playing cards with his in-laws, amongst other things, but most of all spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two brothers Michael Peters and James Peters.

Tim leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife JoDeen (Jody) Peters, three daughters Nikki Koenig (John), Stephanie Eraquam (Josh) and RanDee Peters, one brother Tony Peters, one sister Melanie Arrick, six grandchildren Omni Ritchey, Khyle Ritchey, Georgia Koenig, Sebastian Eraquam, Anthony Eraquam and Waylon Warrick, three great grandchildren Ayson Hall, Araya Hall and Emilio Ritchey-Gomez, several nieces and nephews, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends. Tim was loved by many and will be missed by all!

The family will have a memorial service on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home of Athens located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN with the Reverend Kevin Champlain of The Cross Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the 12:00 noon memorial service.
