Thomas "Tommy" E. Dixon

Thomas “Tommy” E. Dixon, 69, a resident of McDonald, Tennessee, passed away on July 5th, 2016. He was a proud veteran who could always be seen wearing his Army hat around town, displaying his patriotism. Tommy was known by his family and friends for being a prankster. He was a diligent hard worker and would never ask anyone to do anything that he wouldn’t do himself. After managing numerous grocery and building materials stores, he retired from M&M Mars in 2004. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Eaves and step-father, Spence Eaves.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 50 years, Patricia Haney Dixon; 4 children, Michele (Derrick) Payne, of Cumming, GA, Tina (Michael) Giberson, of Norcross, GA, Amanda Glenn, of Cleveland, TN, and Tommy (Dominique) Dixon, of Cleveland, TN; 10 grandchildren, Brianna Griffith, Brett Griffith, Matthew Nolen, Jordan Dixon, Melody Giberson, Savoy Humes, Sky Giberson, Rebecca Nolen, Tyson Warren, and Rachel Jensen; one sister, Debbie Pankey.
A celebration of life memorial service is planned for 6:00pm on July 8th, 2016, at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, with Brother Luther Eslinger officiating the service.
The family will be receiving friends one hour prior from 5:00pm until the 6:00pm service time.
