Thomas Ray Reeves

Thomas Ray Reeves, 72, a resident of Etowah, TN passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at his home. He was born on October 6, 1947 in Polkville, Miss. Thomas was of the Baptist faith and attended First Baptist Church of Athens. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the U. S. Navy after faithfully serving his country during the Vietnam War. Thomas loved taking care of his bees and chickens, hiking the great outdoors and listening to gospel music.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Susan Reeves, two daughters Sharon Morcom (Daniel) and Nancy Reeves-Velasquez (Ricky), two sons Shane Reeves (Mary) and Michael Reeves, one brother Jerry Reeves (Kim), eight grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
The family will have a memorial gathering on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Athens located at 305 Ingleside Avenue in Athens, TN.
