Thomas G. Kilgore, Sr.

Thomas Glenn Kilgore, Sr., 63, passed away December 16, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born January 24, 1959, in Chicago, IL, to the late Lizzie Mae Owensbey and James Louis Kilgore, both of LaFayette, GA. Thomas was a member of the Smoky Mountain Skip Chasers and an avid CB Radio operator. He owned TJ Towing Company in Cleveland, TN, worked door security at Governor Lounge, in Chattanooga, TN, maintenance for US Express in Tunnel Hill, GA, hot shot driver at On Time Shipping/ S & H Transports in Cleveland, TN.

Survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Ann Hollingsworth Kilgore; children, Thomas Glenn Kilgore, Jr. (Tiffani), of Cleveland, TN, Chrysta Chailyn Kilgore, of Cleveland, TN, and James Glenn Kilgore, of Decatur, AL; stepchildren, Tabitha Lynn Smith , of Cleveland, TN, Samantha Lee Burns, Cleveland, TN, and Richard Arthell Burns (Laurie), of LaFayette, GA, 1 grandchild; 6 step-grandchildren; 1 step- great-grandchild; sister, Shelia Palmer (Chris), of Trenton, GA; brothers, Al Nadeau (Cindy), of Rome, GA and Steve Richardson, of LaFayette, GA; and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 19, 2022, at Companion Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Butler officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home with the Smoky Mountain Skip Chasers as honorary pallbearers.
