Theresa Charlene Montgomery-Ables

Theresa Charlene Montgomery-Ables, 76, a resident of Englewood, TN passed away on February 20, 2020 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. She was born in Akron, OH on November 18, 1943. She was a resident of McMinn County most of her life and was retired from Thomas & Betts.
She is preceded in death by her parents Laudess Wyatt Montgomery and Gay Walter Montgomery.
Theresa leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 58 years, Nicky Ables, two daughters Lisa Ables- Churchman and her husband David and Aimee Ables, son Keith Ables, one grandson Cy Ables, one great grandson Dash Ables, her beloved dogs “Oscar” and “Leela”, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday night, February 22, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Athens Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street.
A graveside service is planned for Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the McMinn Memory Gardens with Zac Munger, Nicky Martin, Calvin Prichett and Tom McCoy serving as pallbearers.
