Thelma Marie Bledsoe

Obituary
Thelma Marie Bledsoe, 85, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday September 15th, 2013 at the home of her brother Robert and his wife Norma Price.
She leaves behind others to mourn her passing; two aunts, Sara Lou Bledsoe and daughter Jeanie Goldhagen and also Louise Bledsoe and her daughter Lyndia Dew, several nieces and nephews, Hazel Price, Todd and wife Susan Price, Ken and wife Kathleen Shedden, Terry and wife Teresa Shedden, Debbie and husband Joe Badt and Randy and wife Joecelyn Shedden and many other cousins that called her aunt, Jimmy, Dennis and Gary Swafford, Bonnie Faye Scarbough and Hazel Slack.
Thelma was preceded in death by her mother Eliza, grandmother Naomi Bledsoe and brother Hoyle and wife Bonnie Shedden.
Thelma was a presser for several dry cleaners from the age of 17 until she retired.
Although Thelma lived a quite life for the last several years, she always welcomed visits from family and friends, especially small children and teenagers. They would always be greeted with a smile and something to eat and drink and a genuine question about their welfare.
All of us, whether family or friends (it didn’t matter to Thelma). We will miss her and long for the time when we can go walk upon the porch of her heavenly mansion and sit down with her and catch up on the news. We know she will smile her special smile letting us know she loved us as we loved her.
A celebration of Thelma’s life is planned for Thursday night, September 19th, 2013 at 7:30 PM at the East Cleveland Baptist Church located at 1145 Arnold Street NE with the Reverend Joe Lockman.
The family will receive friends at the Church on Thursday night from 5:00 PM until the 7:30 PM service time.
Interment will be on Friday September, 20th, at 11:00 AM in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Funeral Procession will leave Companion Funeral Home at 10:30 AM on Friday morning.
