In Loving Memory of Teddy Lawrence

On December 13, 2023, in Soddy Daisy, TN, the world lost a beautiful soul. Teddy Lawrence, aged 49, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. A faithful Christian, Teddy's love for God was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a cherished member of the Straightway Holiness Church, where her spirit shone brightly.

Teddy adored her family, finding immense joy in the company of her grandchildren. Her heart overflowed with love for each one of them, especially Nora Grace Hudgins, Amaryllis, Novaleigh, Landen, Makenna Everett, and the anticipated arrival of a new baby. Also survived by many loved andcherished nieces and nephews. Teddy's family was her treasure, and she shared countless moments of laughter, joy, and love with them.

Known for her elegant and pampered style, Teddy found delight in getting her nails done. She also shared special moments over meals, particularly relishing the time spent dining out with her father at Wimpy's. Teddy's beauty, both inside and out, was a reflection of the love she held in her heart.

Teddy is survived by her father, Sidney Lawrence, of Soddy Daisy, and leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Kellie (Mitch Hudgins) Everett of Ringgold, GA, Tyler (Emily) Everett of Hixson, Waco Davis, and Ryan Birt of Soddy Daisy. She is also survived by her sisters, Ladonna (Carroll) Dent and Vanessa (Tim) Biddle, and her brother Aaron (Katie) Glandon. Teddy's life was further enriched by her significant other, Tim Brownfield.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Kellie Lawrence-McClure, her grandparents Leslie and Alma Lawrence, Jack Tate, and Helen Wynn, her sister Scarlett Lawrence, and her grandson Nolan Hudgins. Though Teddy has left this world, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Teddy's life will be held at a later date, providing an opportunity for family and friends to come together and honor the wonderful person she was. As we reflect on Teddy's life, may we remember the warmth of her smile, the kindness in her heart, and the love she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her.
