Tanya Walker

Tanya Annette Walker, passed away on January 2, 2025 at the age of 62.

Tanya was a beloved wife, mother, fur mama, grandmother, neighbor and friend. Tanya was a true warrior and we know that heaven has received an amazing battle angel and we are lucky that she will be watching and protecting us. She lived her entire life with gusto and strength beyond measure and always made lemonade when life gave her lemons.

Preceded in death by parents, William Walker and Barbara Ferguson.

Survivors include her husband, George Roberts; children, Sonya (Al) Lucarelli of FL, Amanda (Daniel) Costoulas of TN, and TJ (Anna) Oliver of CA; grandchildren, Rya Oliver, Riley Oliver and Hunter Oliver all of CA, and Madison Costoulas and Mason Costoulas both of TN; fur babies, Buddy and Deightene "Dee"; sisters, Melissa Walker, Joe Sharpton and Vickie Jenkins all of GA, and Mary Ann Brown of TN; mother in law, Roberta Roberts of TN; and brother in-law, Leonard (Delores) Roberts of Etowah, TN.

The family will have a private memorial service on their own on Saturday January 11, 2025. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the McMinn Regional Humane Society in Tanya's memory.
