Tammy Teresa Gray Slagle

Tammy Slagle, 61, of Cleveland, departed this life on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland. Born on June 9, 1960 to the late Sanford and Annie Bell Gray, she lived a majority of her life between North Georgia and Cleveland and was of the Christian faith. She loved gardening, shopping, traveling to the beach and known as “Popsicle Nana” she enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Steve Slagle; siblings, Mary Alice Gray, Kenneth Gray, and Cindy Brock.
Left behind to cherish Tammy’s memory are her children, Jeremy Dennison (Katie Tucker) and Amber Dennison; grandchildren, Brianna, Fisher, Huntlee, Allie, Chloie, River, Reed, Cameron, and Chase; father of her children, Jerry Dennison(Dianne); stepchildren, Stevie Slagle , Samantha Slagle, and Erin Slagle, sisters, Martha Pippin and Sharon Simmerly; brothers, Larry Gray, Roger Gray, Stanley Gray, Dennis Gray, and Stacy Gray; and companion Tim Whaley;as well as several extended family members and a host of friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-6p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021 at the Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Hank Smith sharing words of comfort.
