Obituary

Tammy Evette Shaw, 56, a resident of Cartersville, GA passed away on Saturday, April 19th, 2014 in a Cartersville healthcare facility. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on February 14th, 1959 to the late Earl Shaw and Shirley Ann Touchstone Shaw. Tammy was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Dancing and coffee were a few of Tammy's favorite pastimes. Tammy had a special song that she cherished by Heatwave call Always & Forever. She is preceded in death by her father Earl Shaw and grandmother Anena Touchstone.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her mother Shirley Ann Touchstone Shaw, one son; Elliot Sims, one daughter; Anena Victoria Sims, one brother; Byron Shaw, six sisters and their husbands; Angela Mentz (William), Venetia Flowers (Michael), Cheryl Shaw, Fran Williams (Charles), Melody Taylor, and Chakaris Marshall (Thomas).

A celebration of Tammy's life will be held on Saturday, April 26th, 2014 at New Shiloh Baptist Church located at 85 Shaw Street, Kingston, GA 30145 at 1:00 P.M. with the Pastor Randy Livsey officiating.
