Sylvia Kurtz

April 9, 1968 — March 22, 2024

Sylvia Ranee Kurtz, 55, passed away March 10, 2024, at Erlanger Medical Center,
in Chattanooga, TN. Sylvia was born April 9, 1968, in Rockford, IL. She was a
free-spirited soul, whom loved her family greatly. Her joyous spirit found solace in
the company of cherished friends, relishing the art of storytelling and sharing
heartfelt laughter.

Sylvia's genuine smile illuminated every room she entered, a reflection of her
unwavering passion for life's simple pleasures and her deep-seated affection for
those around her. Her magnetic presence was a beacon of warmth, drawing others
close with her infectious laughter and kindness.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Ray Walker, Sr., her grandparents Carrie
Kea Daigre and Eldred Daigre Sr.

Survived by her mother, De-Ann Daigre; son, Brandon Kurtz; daughter, Rebekah
Kurtz; brothers, Joe Ray Walker, Jr., James (Mallory) Walker, their children, Lucas,
Meliah, and Samuel, and Tina Marie Daglaris (Stathis), and her children Alex
Reyes and Brianna Burns-Daglaris; grandchild, Jamie Kurtz; dear friend, Jane
Pemrose; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in Marietta, GA.
