Susan Bivens

Susan Bivens, 74, of Cleveland, TN passed away on August 18, 2021. She was a lifelong resident of this area and a longtime member of First Baptist Church Cleveland. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Giggy Bivens and her parents Jewell Dedmon Lawson and William Floyd (Bosh) Lawson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her cousins Mike Lee (Nancy) and their son Mark Lee (Renata) and several other cousins. The family would especially like to thank Susan’s dear friends: Becky Chaffin, Linda Hall, Mary Lynn West, Melissa Word, Judy Witt, Katherine Gibson, and Janice Suits, as well as her many caregivers-especially Lylia Guffey.

The family will hold a private celebration of Susan’s life. Susan will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with her husband, Giggy. The family welcomes memorial contributions directed to First Baptist Church, Cleveland, TN.
