Susan Beth Hambright

Beth Hambright, 56, of Cleveland, departed this life to meet her personal Savior on March 5, 2018. She was born March 21, 1961, in Cleveland, Tennessee, the daughter of John and Maxine Hambright. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, teacher, and friend.

Beth had a love for children and it showed in her personal and professional life. After achieving her Master’s Degree, she moved to Athens to begin her career as a Special Education Teacher in the McMinn County School System, most recently at E.K. Baker Elementary School. She also spent many years as a foster parent, providing a loving home to many children during their times of need.

She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Athens and also attended Joy Christian Fellowship in Cleveland.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Hambright and brother, Keith Hambright. Survivors include her father, John Hambright, big brother Mike Hambright, niece Laurie Weber and husband Travis, nephew Chris Hambright and wife Tanya, and great nieces Violet and Lily Hambright, all of Cleveland. Also survived by dear friend and caretaker Laura Rickerson.

A celebration of her life is planned for Friday, March 9, 2018 at 8:00 PM in the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, Tn with Reverend Bob Zwarych and the Reverend Mike Bernard officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home parlor from 6:00 PM until the 8:00 PM service time.

The interment will take place on Saturday morning, March 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Hambringht Cemetery in Calhoun, TN.
