Steven Edward Keasler, 69, of Cleveland, died Thursday morning at the Chattanooga Hospice Care Center.
Steve was a graduate of Bradley Central High School and worked with his father in his plumbing business for many years. He later left the plumbing business and began a river towing business from which he retired . He was a very dedicated volunteer fireman for 40 years. For those who knew him well, Steve will always be remembered for his dry sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his father, William D. Keasler; mother, Anna Marie Keasler; and brother, William Paul Keasler.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ramsey Keasler of Chattanooga; daughter, Casey Keasler of Portland, OR; son, Britt Keasler of Chattanooga; mother-in-law, Yolanda Ramsey of Cleveland, brothers-in-law, Jon Ramsey (Joan) of Gainsville, FL; and Paul Ramsey of Cleveland; as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and close friends.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Steve requested in lieu of flowers, any contributions be given in his name to your favorite charity.
