Steve Ronnie Carter

Steve Ronnie Carter, 68, a longtime resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 at his residence in Cleveland, TN. Ronnie was a gifted carpenter and often help build items for his church. He loved to spend time at the lake fishing and going golfing, but most of all he loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. Ronnie was an all around great guy and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Monroe and Leona Carter; brothers John, Paul, Alvin, Calvin, Hoyt and Pete Carter; sister Sadie Parrott.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 38 years, Dorothy Carter; sons, Ronnie E. Carter, Steven B. Carter and Ben Carter; daughter, Amanda Dye (Shane); grandsons, Britton Carter, Brayson Carter, Logan Dye and Noah Dye; granddaughters, Maddie Dye and Kayleigh Carter; brothers, Ralph Carter and Layne Carter; sister Veldia Collier and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends and family from 6PM to 8PM on Thursday, September 12, 2019. A celebration of life ceremony will take place on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 2PM at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN with the internment to follow in Copperhill, TN. Pastor Shane Dye will be officiating.
