Obituary
Stephen Mitchell Lane, 24, a resident of Benton, TN passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 6th, 2013. Stephen was born on February 18, 1988 in Cleveland, TN. He was a lifelong resident of the Benton area and was of the Baptist faith. Stephen loved hunting, fishing, and any activity associated with the great outdoors.
Stephen is preceded in death by his mother Pamela J. Shelton Lane.
Stephen leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Marilyn Lane, two daughters whom he adored dearly Aubrey Lane and Alley Lane, his father George Lane, grandmother Jessie Shelton, one sister Jessica Lane, a niece Laney Cross, numerous extended family members and countless friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on Monday night, February 11th, 2013 at 8:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church located at 920 Welcome Valley Road in Benton, TN with Pastor Gary Helton and Pastor Tony Duggan officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday night from 5:00 PM until the 8:00 PM service time.
Interment will follow on Tuesday morning, February 12th, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Delano Cemetery with Scottie Trentham, Jeff Trentham, Chuck Meyers, Trey Stone, Jake Day, and Michael Green serving as pallbearers.
