Stephen Faris

We mourn the loss of Stephen (Steve) Lindsey Faris, age 69, who left us shortly after his wife, Laura Johnson Faris, who passed on March 22, 2024, concluding a 35 year union of deep love and companionship.

Steve's heart belonged to the mountains, rivers and great outdoors where he joyfully engaged in camping and fishing. Inspired by his father, he shared a passion for finding arrowheads, subtly spreading this joy by leaving them for others to discover.

Steve loved cats and cared for many in his neighborhood. Renowned for his kindness he was a beloved presence at family gatherings, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and gentle spirit.

Stephen is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Carol Faris Roberts and Linda Faris Chestnutt.

Steve's family will scatter his cremains at the places he loved.
