Starr Margie Burnette

Starr Margie Burnette, 89, of Cleveland, TN passed away Monday Morning December 5th. She was born on June 24, 1933 to the late Luther and Charlcie Hicks. Starr enjoyed being outdoors and loved to fish. Above all, she loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by children: Randall Howard, Doug Howard; grandson Scottie Howard; great-great grandson Ivan Lee Howard; sisters: Veta Harris, Mary Joyce Strickland, Adessa Gregg, Angie Dean Green, and Mamie Sue Beshears; brother John Eldon Albritton.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Angela Howard and William Howard; sister Brenda Rymer (Mickie); grandchildren: Josh Howard (Andrea), Joe Howard (Rachel), Dusty Howard, Stephanie Bilbrey (Michael), Derrick Scroggins, Aaron Scroggins (Cassaundra), Michael Howard, Christy Howard, Colesha Howard, and Shasta Howard; twelve great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.

Starr’s family will receive friends from 4pm until 6pm on Saturday December 10th at Companion Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 6pm with Mickey Rymer and Lee Ingram officiating.
