Obituary

Stanley Waters age 90 of Georgetown dies in a local hospital on February 18, 2014. He was born May 2, 1923 in Oshkosh, WI, to the late William & Katherine (Porte) Waters.

Stanley served his country during World War II, in the army as a Tec 3 SGT on April 14, 1942. He married the love of his life Gertrude Mueller. Stanley worked at A.D.T until his retirement in 1985. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Gertrude Waters of Georgetown, TN, one son Stanley Waters, Jr. of Redgranite, WI, three daughters, Charyl Severson (Joel) of Oregon, WI, Gloria Klemp (Greg) of Neshkoro, WI, Debra Gravell (Jon) of Georgetown, TN, six grandchildren, Stanely III, Greg, Jr, Gina Koston, Jason, Jeremy, and Jared Gravell. One brother William Waters, Jr. (Sandy) of Savannah, TN. Along with his parents Stanley Waters preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters, Raymond, Dolly, Eloise, Frank, Bob, Myrtle, Leroy, Marcella, Phyllis and Doris.

A private Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 12:30 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.
