Shirley Ledford

Shirley Lee Ledford (nee Bryant), affectionately known to many as "Nana", went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 10th, 2023. Shirley was the only child of the late Jewel Beatrice Bryant (nee Raby) and Robert B. Bryant.

Shirley was born on February 4th, 1949, in Chattanooga, TN, where she spent most of her life. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, traveling to Native American Pow Wows, and spending time with her family.

Survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Michael Ledford, of Signal Mountain; daughter, Milissa (Danny) Merciers, of Signal Mountain; son, Robert Ledford, of Tiptonville, TN; grandsons, Nicholas Merciers, of Chattanooga, Bradley "Xander" Merciers, of Los Angeles, CA, and Michael Ledford of Chattanooga; great- granddaughter Mailee Merciers, of Signal Mountain, and a host of cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, at The Point Church on Signal in Signal Mountain, TN from 4-7pm in the Christian Life Center.
