Shirley Jean Skelton

Shirley Skelton, age 71, of Cleveland, departed this life on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare. Born on January 18, 1950 to the late J.P. and Mildren Carver, she was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and attended Bradley North Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Borden.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Eric Skelton(Trisha) and Andrea Phipps(J.B.); grandson, Aiden Skelton; sister, Barbara Herron; as well as several extended family members and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Shirley Jean Skelton will be held at 12 Noon Friday, December 31, 2021 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Archey officiating.
Interment will follow in the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the funeral hour on Friday.
