Shirley Elois Hardin

Shirley Elois Hardin , passed away on December 22, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Georgetown. Heaven’s gates opened for her into the arms of Jesus. She attended the Church of GOD.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Leona Childs Bettis.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Edwin Hardin; children, Judy Hardin Koon(Sam) and Mike Hardin(Carla); sister, Mary Ann Bettis; grandchildren, William Branham(Letitia), Leslie Marko, Mikel Hardin(Wendy); great-grandchildren, Skylee Marko, Keegan Marko, Avery Hardin, Olivia Shannon, Bryson Millwood, Brooklynee Branham; Ethan Branham, David Sanders, Anthony Hurst, and Tabitha Simms.

A Celebration of Life and Home going for Shirley Elois Bettis Hardin will be held at 2p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Travis Rodgers and Ronnie Harden officiating. Interment will follow in McInturff Cemetery with William Branham, Mikel Hardin, Bryson Millwood, Robert Hardin, David Hardin, Anthony Hurst serving as pallbearers and Lovone Hardin serving as honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the funeral hour on Tuesday.
